day twenty-nine

"our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
give us this day our daily bread.
and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

Creator, Comforter, Parent to us all, holy, holy, holy are You
i praise you for all that You are, all that You do, all that You wish for your creation.
reveal Your self to me.  reveal Your hope for me.  reveal Your hope for this world.
i understand that what i want and what i need are two separate things
and that sometimes You are the only one who knows exactly what i need.
i have faith that you will always provide me with what i need.
i pray that you would use me to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless and visit the sick.
please forgive me when i've failed to do so.
please forgive me when i've failed to love like You love, with grace and with mercy.
keep me from the things that keep me from You
and save me when i've strayed so far that i can't find my way Home.
for You are my home, my strength and my joy for ever and ever.
